Week 5 - Storyboard changes

My storyboards from the first blog I done for Professional Portfolio development 1 focuses on the work I planned to do in term 1 of this year. Now that my plans have changed and I am now working on different parts of scenes for both dissertation and advanced 3D which means that I now have new storyboards for both scenes which will show an example of what it is I plan to have in my final show reel. The main title screen will stay the same and titles for each scene will consist changing the images as this does not fit with my work so I need to change it to make it make sense with each scene.

The images I use to plan out my new storyboards will not be final for what my show reel will actually look like but it will be used for an example in order for you to see what it is I plan to get at the end when it comes to actually building my show reel and putting my scenes together.

The images above shows what my first original storyboard was for Advanced 3D and the idea for what I will be doing now as changed a lot due to working with another person increasing the amount of work that has to be done.

The images above also shows what my original storyboard was going to be like for my dissertation scene, although I am still using the same TV series I still need to change the storyboard for it as my new one will be to focus on the main inside prison cell area which isn't accurate for using if I am trying to show an example of what exactly my scene will look like.

The storyboard below shows a clear understanding of what it is me and my team member are going for with our scene and shows examples of the way that I will try and lay it out when I put it into my show reel. I have used notes to explain what it is I am trying to show within each scene in the show reel and arrows with how the camera will hopefully move around the scene.

Below is a storyboard to show what my new scene will be like for my dissertation and the way I plan to lay it out throughout my show reel video using notes to explain also what I am showing in each scene and using arrows to explain how the camera is going to move around the scene.

As you can see the title screen is the same and stays on for about 3 seconds in total (image above).

Title screen for 3 seconds, changed title to inside prison to fit my scene (image above).

The first scene of the prison starts here from above and the camera pans forward across the scene for 10 seconds (image above).

Camera zooms in a bit to look at the cells as it moves across the scene up and down to show of the cells for 10 seconds (image above).

After it gets to the end of the scene it pans back to show opposite side of the scene for 6 seconds (image above).

Next is the title screen for 3 seconds explaining what scenes next.

This scene is where it starts of from, the camera turns right for 4 seconds, then pans down the road to the blockage for 8 seconds, then back towards the pub entrance for 8 seconds.

finally the camera enters the pub and pan through slowly for 8 seconds and then into the back poker room.
